truly delishas tuesday

Every tuesday I will post a few things that I am currently loving. Why tuesday? Simply because it was the day of the week that i was born on. Check out the links below to find out what day of the week you were born on and start making lists of your favorite things on that day!

Oh yeah, this delishasness is totally inspired by the lovely Gala Darling and her weekly loves.

water. I have stuck post-its all around my room to remind myself to drink lots and lots of water. clear beautiful skin, here I come!

sleep. Even though spring break just ended, I am still tired from last quarter. The classes that I have this quarter seem like they will pair nicely with an easygoing spring attitude and allow for more sleep.

In other news, its the second day of new classes. My first class today was teacher education with a prof that I had in the fall. I was pleasantly surprised when she remembered me during role.

I think remembering previous students will be a struggle for me in the future. I will have to learn how to pay better attention!

Also, happy birthday to my lovely grandma! In honor of her special day, here are some fun links:

fresh spring classes

Of course spring quarter would begin with rain.

Every quarter, the classes that I take relate to each other and fall under an overarching theme or subject. The best part about this occurrence is that it is 100% a force of its own. I take the classes that are needed and fit into my schedule without thinking about the pairing of subject matter. It comes in handy when you are being tested on the same material in multiple classes. A twofer!

Last quarter the theme was history. American history, history of American politics, history of the English language and history of technology. Usually themes follow a solid academic pattern. So far the theme this quarter seems to be more personal. The theater and educational diversity classes that I had this morning both included objectives relating to learning about and discovering the self.

If this theme plays out through the rest of my courses I may be headed for an enlightening quarter.
