Videos at Chow.com I spent a good part of yesterday watching these videos. I especially like the obsessives about sake, absinthe and coffee. I am probably 70% a visual learner with a very short attention span so short, educational videos like these really catch my attention. There are tons of other great videos at chow that you should go watch.

Family phone calls. Ever since I’ve been away at school I don’t get to be with my family for most holidays (Rosh Hashana, Mothers Day, Halloween, etc.) so I always call them to wish them well. On Saturday night my family was celebrating Passover at my aunt’s house so I called to wish them a happy holiday. They passed around the phone and I was able to talk to most everyone.

The Monday and Tuesday crossword puzzles in The Post. Aaron got me into doing these last quarter and since then I have become obsessed. The puzzles on Monday and Tuesday are usually super easy so I fill in every square with ease. It makes me feel smart, until Wednesday and then it all goes downhill.
