curiouser and curiouser!

There once was a young lady named Elisha Lynn who very much wanted to dress up like Alice for Halloween.  Unfortunately, the middle school where she spent her days learning did not allow for costumes or any form of Halloween merriment. “How curious!” Elisha Lynn exclaimed, “Halloween time is fun for all and should be celebrated by all children.”

When Halloween came Elisha Lynn decided that she would dress up but in the sneakiest of ways. When she went to the school not one student nor teacher caught on to her trick and she was happy.

shirt - from high school
skirt - old navy
silk scarf - vintage
shoes - no boundaries
tights - walmart

Danse Macabre

My date with Dina on Thursday night was amazing. Dinner, as you can see here, was delish. I was happy to be able to spend the time talking with her. After dinner we went to CVS for a bit to see if we could find makeup for her bumblebee costume. Unfortunately, we did not have any luck.

The Halloween Gala at MemAud was incredible! Seriously, one of the most amazing and entertaining concert performances that I have ever seen. There was haunting red lighting, a masked choir, errie clouds of fog looming over the orchestra, a witchy flute ensamble, a Halloween trombone medly and the loudest version of Thriller that I have ever heard performed by the Marching 110. Needless to say, Dina and I were both very happy to be there.

Speaking of things that make me happy, I found this note in one of my journals today. Wonder who this secret message came from…. :)
